Responsibilities
- Design and develop novel quantum algorithms for practical applications in finance, logistics, and AI
- Collaborate with quantum hardware engineers to optimize algorithms for real quantum processors
- Create simulation frameworks for testing quantum algorithms on classical systems
- Develop error mitigation techniques to enhance quantum algorithm reliability
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and quantum-inspired classical algorithms
- Document technical specifications and publish research in peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open-source quantum computing projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Computer Science, Physics, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 3+ years of experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Proficiency in Python and C++ with deep understanding of quantum circuit design
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing principles
- Publication record in quantum computing or related fields preferred
