Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-availability, distributed system architectures for the 2026 Initiative roadmap.
- Lead technical strategy discussions, providing mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.
- Optimize system performance, latency, and throughput to support millions of concurrent users.
- Establish coding standards, review complex codebases, and ensure best practices for security and compliance.
- Collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Conduct rigorous load testing and disaster recovery planning to guarantee system resilience.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and evaluate their applicability to our long-term goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering and system architecture.
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale deployments and migrating legacy systems to microservices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible).
