Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum processor architectures for 1000+ qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Implement quantum error correction codes with <10^-9 logical error rates
- Lead integration of quantum accelerators with classical HPC infrastructure
- Drive quantum software stack development including compilers and simulators
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum control electronics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerance techniques
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in superconducting qubit systems or ion trap technologies
- Publication record in top quantum computing conferences (QIP, IEEE Quantum Week)
- Experience leading technical teams and managing R&D roadmaps
