Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures supporting >1,000 qubit operations
- Develop error correction protocols for industrial-scale quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional teams translating quantum algorithms into hardware implementations
- Establish quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography systems
- Drive R&D initiatives in topological qubit stabilization and quantum networking
- Collaborate with Fortune 500 partners to solve quantum-adjacent optimization problems
- Pioneer quantum-classical hybrid computing paradigms for real-world applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or supercomputing design
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent top-tier journals
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Experience leading technical teams in high-stakes R&D environments
- Deep understanding of quantum-classical integration challenges
