Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into classical computing frameworks
- Lead research initiatives to advance quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Implement quantum security protocols for next-generation cryptographic systems
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum physics and computational theory
- Stay current with emerging quantum technologies and industry standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Proven track record in developing quantum error correction codes
- Familiarity with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Strong programming skills in Python, Q#, and quantum assembly languages
- Experience with high-performance computing and parallel processing systems
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
