Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial deployment
- Develop quantum error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant operations
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit connectivity and coherence
- Create quantum algorithm blueprints for cryptography, optimization, and simulation
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum applications
- Research emerging quantum technologies to maintain industry leadership
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or development
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum programming languages
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and quantum mechanics
- Experience with quantum simulation frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Prior work on quantum error correction or fault-tolerant systems
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
