Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and engineers to develop quantum algorithms with 99.9% fidelity
- Optimize quantum circuits for hybrid classical-quantum systems achieving 1000+ qubit stability
- Develop quantum-safe encryption protocols for 2026-era cybersecurity threats
- Collaborate with government agencies on national quantum security initiatives
- Author white papers on quantum error correction and topological qubit stability
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm design
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant systems
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
