Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for financial and healthcare applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical integration frameworks
- Create quantum-resistant encryption protocols for 2026's security landscape
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Optimize qubit stability and coherence in superconducting systems
- Develop quantum machine learning algorithms for predictive analytics
- Secure patents for novel quantum circuit designs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Expertise in superconducting qubit manipulation and error correction
- Published research in Nature/Science journals
- Proficiency in C++/Python for quantum simulation frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems below 10mK
- Security clearance for DoD quantum projects preferred
