Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop novel quantum algorithms to solve complex optimization and simulation problems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate quantum processors with classical systems
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Create technical documentation and present findings to stakeholders and investors
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open-source quantum computing projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum architecture design
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing or physics journals
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Q, AWS Braket)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical business solutions
