Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop quantum algorithms to solve complex optimization problems in finance and logistics
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum processors with machine learning frameworks
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects exploring quantum supremacy applications
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Present breakthrough findings at international quantum computing conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and error correction methodologies
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or topological quantum computing
- Strong background in distributed computing and high-performance architecture
- Proven ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business applications
- Security clearance eligibility for DoD quantum initiatives preferred
