Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating business challenges into quantum solutions
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies including photonic and superconducting systems
- Create quantum error mitigation strategies for fault-tolerant computation
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit performance
- Document architecture specifications and best practices for quantum development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, Cirq) and circuit design
- Proven track record of implementing quantum algorithms in production environments
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerance principles
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields preferred
