Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum architectures supporting 1000+ qubit systems
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Implement fault-tolerant protocols to overcome decoherence challenges
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Contribute to open-source quantum frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to executive stakeholders
- Research emerging quantum technologies (topological computing, photonic systems)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with exceptional experience)
- 3+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum error correction codes
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (QASM, Quil, Q#)
- Experience with quantum simulators (Qiskit Aer, IBM Quantum Experience)
- Publication record in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and information theory
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware constraints (superconducting, trapped ion)
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for non-technical audiences
