Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and cryptography applications
- Develop error-correction protocols and fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Lead integration of quantum processors with classical high-performance computing systems
- Create quantum software development frameworks for enterprise clients
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop quantum-enhanced machine learning models
- Conduct research on topological quantum computing and exotic qubit implementations
- Mentor junior researchers and publish findings in leading scientific journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years of industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit optimization
- Proven track record of developing quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant systems
- Experience with superconducting qubits, ion traps, or photonic quantum processors
- Strong background in quantum information theory and quantum many-body physics
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals or conferences
- Certification in quantum cloud platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Experience securing venture funding for quantum research initiatives
