Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Develop error-corrected qubit architectures and quantum communication protocols
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum hardware components
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry whitepapers
- Collaborate with government agencies on national quantum security initiatives
- Optimize quantum circuit performance using AI-driven classical-quantum hybrid systems
- Present findings at international quantum computing conferences and tech summits
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development and qubit manipulation
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or IEEE journals
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Ability to secure government-level quantum research clearances
