Responsibilities

- Manage a team of 8-12 quantum physicists and software engineers
- Secure $5M+ in annual research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Partner with Fortune 100 companies to implement quantum solutions
- Develop patentable quantum error correction methodologies
- Present findings at global tech conferences (e.g., IEEE Quantum Week)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computer Science with 5+ years research
- Published record in quantum computing or theoretical physics
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization
- Experience securing federal research grants ($2M+ preferred)
- Strong background in quantum error correction protocols
- Proven team leadership in high-stakes R&D environments
- Patent portfolio with 3+ quantum computing patents
- Security clearance eligibility (Top Secret preferred)
