Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for 2026-era computational challenges
- Design fault-tolerant quantum architectures with 100+ qubit stability
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum-accelerated machine learning
- Secure $2M+ annual research funding through NSF and DoD partnerships
- Mentor cross-disciplinary teams of physicists and software engineers
- Publish in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Drive commercialization of quantum solutions for Fortune 500 clients
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with superconducting quantum processors
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Track record of securing government research grants
- Deep understanding of quantum cryptography post-quantum standards
