Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for enterprise-scale applications
- Design fault-tolerant quantum architectures for 2026 deployment
- Mentor PhD-level researchers in quantum information theory
- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature Physics
- Collaborate with IBM/Microsoft quantum teams on interoperability standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years quantum computing research with 20+ citations
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Experience securing DoD or NSF research funding
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Strong background in quantum machine learning frameworks
