Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for real-world applications in finance, healthcare, and materials science
- Oversee 15+ researchers in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Secure $2M+ annual R&D funding through NIH and DARPA partnerships
- Develop patentable quantum encryption protocols for 2026 security standards
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and Nature Quantum conferences
- Collaborate with IBM, Google, and Rigetti on quantum cloud infrastructure
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years quantum computing research with 3+ publications in Nature/Science
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Demonstrated experience securing government research grants
- Expertise in quantum machine learning applications
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and superconducting qubits
