Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims using IBM and Google hardware
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE)
- Secure $1M+ in NSF grants for quantum computing infrastructure
- Mentor PhD candidates and junior researchers in quantum error correction
- Develop patentable quantum software solutions for Fortune 500 clients
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (3+ years postdoc)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum assembly languages
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Proficiency with Python, TensorFlow, and high-performance computing frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems or superconducting qubits
