Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical industrial applications
- Lead research on quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor interactions
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Secure external research grants and patents
- Mentor junior researchers and guide PhD candidates
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related quantum field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum information theory or quantum computing
- Strong mathematical foundations in linear algebra and probability
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding (NSF, DARPA, etc.)
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, etc.)
