Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional projects with AI/ML and cybersecurity teams
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present at international conferences
- Secure patents for quantum-resistant cryptographic methods
- Mentor junior researchers and interns in quantum principles
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum-coherent architectures
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Strong publication record in quantum information science
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics and quantum algorithms
- Experience with quantum error correction and fault tolerance
