Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum circuits and error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for machine learning optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating complex business problems into quantum solutions
- Research and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography and data security
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum gate operations
- Create technical documentation and patents for proprietary quantum methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum machine learning models
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with quantum error mitigation and fault-tolerance techniques
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and complex analysis
- Demonstrated ability to publish in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Knowledge of quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Experience leading technical projects with measurable impact
