In this role, you'll collaborate with Nobel laureates and industry pioneers in our state-of-the-art Austin facility, working on projects with global impact.
Our interdisciplinary team combines quantum physics, machine learning, and cryptography to solve previously impossible challenges. You'll access cutting-edge hardware including superconducting qubits and quantum annealers while publishing breakthrough research in leading journals.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional projects integrating quantum-classical hybrid workflows
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international conferences
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit implementations
- Identify commercial applications for quantum solutions in finance and logistics
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming techniques
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum information science or quantum computing
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Proven ability to translate complex concepts into practical solutions
