Responsibilities
- Develop and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications
- Design quantum error correction protocols for scalable systems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum computing architectures
- Publish high-impact research in peer-reviewed journals and conferences
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor designs
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum computing methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics and information theory
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Expertise in machine learning for quantum data analysis
