Responsibilities

- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processor architectures
- Secure $2M+ in government/private research grants annually
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Author 3+ peer-reviewed publications in Nature/Science journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 5+ years hands-on experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to secure federal research grants (NSF/DoE)
- Fluency in quantum machine learning algorithms
- Patent portfolio in quantum technologies (3+ patents preferred)
