Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms with real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional research teams to optimize quantum error correction protocols
- Develop proprietary quantum machine learning frameworks for 2026-era AI systems
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patents in top-tier scientific journals
- Collaborate with hardware engineering teams to improve qubit stability and coherence
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum supremacy
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and superposition principles
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti)
- Track record of translating theoretical models into experimental implementations
