Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical industrial applications
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and qubit stabilization
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning models
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals (Nature/Science/Quantum)
- Secure and manage $2M+ in annual research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Mentor PhD researchers and establish university partnerships
- Translate theoretical advances into patentable quantum hardware innovations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (exceptional MS candidates with 5+ years experience considered)
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
