Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and molecular modeling
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical computing frameworks
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and AI acceleration
- Publish findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, Quantum) and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grants
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years postdoc experience
- Published research in quantum algorithm development or error correction
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware testing and calibration
- Track record of securing research grants or industry partnerships
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- US citizenship required for government contract compliance
