Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-resistant cryptographic frameworks for enterprise-scale systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing architectures with 99.999% uptime requirements
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of physicists, cryptographers, and software engineers
- Create predictive maintenance protocols for quantum annealers using federated learning
- Establish zero-trust security protocols for distributed quantum networks
- Document architectural blueprints using formal verification methods
- Partner with MIT and Stanford on quantum supremacy research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Cryptography, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years designing fault-tolerant quantum computing systems
- Expertise in lattice-based cryptography and post-quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in Q#, Qiskit, and quantum error correction protocols
- Published research in Nature or IEEE journals on quantum systems
- SCION or equivalent quantum security certification
- Experience with AWS Braket and Azure Quantum platforms
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
