Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning research to identify disruptive trends through 2030
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for product development and market expansion
- Facilitate scenario planning workshops with executive leadership teams
- Produce trend impact reports and whitepapers for board-level decision making
- Build and maintain global network of futurists, technologists, and academic researchers
- Integrate foresight findings into quarterly business strategy cycles
- Mentor junior innovation team members in future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional data synthesis and storytelling abilities for C-suite audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology journals
