Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks using quantitative/qualitative analysis and predictive modeling
- Facilitate executive workshops with C-suite clients to translate foresight into actionable business strategies
- Author white papers and scenario reports published in journals like Future Studies Review
- Mentor junior futurists while maintaining thought leadership through conference keynotes
- Integrate emerging technologies (quantum computing, bio-AI, neuro-interfaces) into foresight methodologies
- Build and maintain global network of innovation partners across academia and industry
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field with 5+ years applied foresight experience
- Proven track record developing strategic foresight frameworks for Fortune 500 clients
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and disruptive technology assessment
- Publishing record in peer-reviewed foresight or innovation journals
- Proficiency in foresight software (e.g., Foresight Platform, Trendalyzer) and data visualization tools
- Experience leading cross-cultural teams in global innovation ecosystems
