Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Strategic Foresight Framework using advanced scenario planning and horizon scanning techniques
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify and prioritize emerging trends impacting our industry verticals
- Produce high-impact future intelligence reports and visualizations for executive decision-making
- Design and implement innovation pipelines translating foresight into actionable business opportunities
- Establish partnerships with leading research labs, universities, and futurist communities
- Present strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors and C-level stakeholders
- Mentor junior futurists and build the organization's future literacy capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation strategy, or future studies with proven 5+ year horizon planning experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Innovation Management, or related field
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and disruption mapping methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-strategy implementation for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing) and societal megatrends
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from the Association of Professional Futurists)
- Experience leading global teams and managing cross-cultural futures research initiatives
