Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Produce high-impact trend reports and risk assessments identifying disruptive forces in AI, biotech, quantum computing, and climate resilience
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and innovation labs to track emerging technologies
- Present compelling future scenarios to executive stakeholders and Board members to drive strategic alignment
- Design and implement continuous foresight processes to monitor early indicators of paradigm shifts
- Mentor junior strategists and build internal capability in strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies with proven impact on long-term strategy
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, Economics, or related quantitative field
- Deep expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methods, and scenario planning frameworks
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data from diverse sources (tech, social, economic)
- Proven track record of translating future insights into executable business strategies
- Strong executive communication skills with ability to influence C-suite decision-making
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight (articles, books, white papers)
- Experience working with emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and regulatory landscapes
