Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights from technology, social, and economic megatrends
- Produce actionable scenario plans and strategic roadmaps for executive decision-making
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to pioneer future-facing research
- Communicate complex foresight findings through compelling narratives and visualizations
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability within the organization
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills for executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight publications
- Experience leading high-impact foresight initiatives in Fortune 500 environments
