Responsibilities
- Lead multi-year foresight initiatives mapping technological, social, and economic trends through 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for disruptive innovation adoption
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate foresight into product roadmaps and business models
- Conduct horizon scanning across quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence, and climate tech
- Produce executive briefings and trend reports influencing $500M+ portfolio decisions
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-proofing methodologies and adaptive strategy
- Represent company at global forums on emerging technologies and long-term forecasting
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record translating complex systems into executable business strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling capabilities with executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed foresight or strategy journals
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., AC/FS, APF) preferred
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi Method)
