Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026+ technology foresight framework, identifying emerging trends in AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable systems
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing products and services
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members with compelling data-driven narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry pioneers to scout disruptive technologies
- Design and implement horizon-scanning methodologies to capture weak signals of market disruption
- Create innovation roadmaps aligning emerging opportunities with organizational capabilities and market gaps
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation specialists to build organizational foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or technology consulting with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology, AR/VR) and their societal implications
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data from diverse sources
- Strong presentation skills with experience influencing C-suite executives and investors
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (white papers, patents, or industry publications)
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP, APF) preferred
