Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology forecasts using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead innovation workshops with Fortune 500 clients to co-create future-ready strategies
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports with data-backed projections on AI, biotech, and climate solutions
- Advise C-suite executives on exponential technology adoption and risk mitigation
- Build and mentor a global network of futurist thought leaders and academic partners
- Translate complex foresight into actionable product roadmaps for emerging markets
- Represent Horizon Labs at global tech summits and industry conferences
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in emerging tech: quantum computing, AGI ethics, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience designing scenario planning frameworks for Fortune 500 clients
- Deep understanding of geopolitical, environmental, and technological inflection points
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (preferred) or equivalent training
