Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable energy domains
- Develop 2026+ strategic roadmaps and scenario-planning frameworks for executive decision-making
- Chair cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and marketing teams
- Deliver keynote presentations at global futurist conferences and publish white papers
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Mentor junior futurists and build a world-class foresight capability
- Drive ethical AI governance and sustainable innovation practices
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized innovations
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published author in futurist literature or peer-reviewed journals
- Certification in scenario planning or futures methodologies (e.g., WFS, APF)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major innovation initiatives launched post-2020
