Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026 technology convergence
- Develop scenario-based strategic plans for AI and biotech disruptions
- Design and execute innovation sprints with cross-functional R&D teams
- Present foresight findings to executive stakeholders and industry forums
- Build quantitative forecasting models using proprietary data platforms
- Manage a $2M innovation portfolio with ROI-driven KPIs
- Mentor junior futurists through our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or MBA
- Expertise in AI ethics, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Proficiency in foresight frameworks (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Published research in peer-reviewed innovation journals
- Experience with scenario planning tools like Gigerenzer's ABC method
- Security clearance for classified government projects preferred
