Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026 technology foresight frameworks using predictive analytics and trend synthesis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable product roadmaps
- Author quarterly 'Horizon Reports' on emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Partner with C-suite executives to align long-term strategy with 2026 market projections
- Manage a $2M innovation fund for experimental 2026-viable prototypes
- Represent the company at Davos, CES, and other future-focused global forums
- Mentor junior futurists and build our internal foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial applications
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and horizon scanning
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in futurist journals or major business publications
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on 5-10 year strategic pivots
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston)
