Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for board-level decision-making
- Champion cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and marketing teams
- Author high-impact thought leadership publications and keynote presentations
- Design and manage a portfolio of future-focused pilot programs with $2M+ annual budget
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future studies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record translating trend analysis into enterprise value
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, Quantum, Synthetic Biology, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Experience managing innovation portfolios with $1M+ budgets
- Published thought leadership in industry journals or major media
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., CFS, CFIP) preferred
