Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging paradigms in decentralized systems and neural interfaces
- Architect strategic partnerships with academic institutions and national labs
- Translate complex technological forecasts into actionable business strategies
- Mentor innovation teams on exponential technology adoption frameworks
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and board members
- Drive patent development for breakthrough 2026-era technologies
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computational Physics, Systems Theory, or Future Studies
- 10+ years in strategic innovation with proven 5+ year horizon planning success
- Expertise in at least three exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Published author in peer-reviewed futurism or technology journals
- Experience securing $5M+ R&D budgets for experimental projects
- Deep understanding of S-curves and technological inflection points
- Track record of launching breakthrough products with exponential growth
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., from APF or WFS)
