Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop scenario-planning models for high-impact industries (AI, biotech, climate tech)
- Present strategic foresight insights to executive leadership and board members
- Design innovation roadmaps integrating quantum computing, neurotech, and sustainable systems
- Establish cross-functional foresight councils with R&D, product, and marketing teams
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global forums
- Oversee development of AI-powered trend analysis platforms
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership on emerging technologies (2020-2025)
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., GBN, Shell's scenarios)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record advising Fortune 500 on 5+ year strategic pivots
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, weak signal analysis, backcasting)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex futures
