Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks using scenario planning and trend analysis
- Lead high-stakes workshops with C-suite executives to identify disruptive opportunities and risks
- Produce actionable white papers and thought leadership positioning Horizon as a future authority
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype emerging technology applications (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Analyze global socio-economic shifts to inform product development and market entry strategies
- Build and manage a network of futurist influencers, academics, and industry pioneers
- Mentor junior strategists in future-proof methodologies and critical thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or equivalent field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record of successfully predicting and capitalizing on market shifts
- Expertise in horizon scanning, trend mapping, and systemic analysis methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in technology, sustainability, or healthcare sectors
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy publications (preferred)
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi, STEEP, causal layered analysis)
