Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, market trends, and disruptive forces through 2026 and beyond
- Develop quantitative and qualitative frameworks for future scenario modeling and risk assessment
- Translate complex foresight analyses into executive-ready strategic recommendations and roadmaps
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with engineering, product, and leadership teams
- Author thought leadership content including whitepapers, conference presentations, and industry reports
- Build and maintain an external network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Integrate foresight insights into product development cycles and corporate strategy
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology research with proven impact
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology adoption lifecycle modeling
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Proficiency with foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning, STEEP analysis)
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-strategy implementations
- Ability to synthesize complex data into compelling narratives
