Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential by 2026
- Develop and publish strategic foresight reports on AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Architect technology roadmaps aligning with long-term business objectives
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with engineers and designers to translate foresight into actionable R&D
- Represent the company at global tech summits and industry conferences
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability framework
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends with documented impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., AGI, neuromorphic computing)
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for executive presentations and stakeholder alignment
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
