Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential by 2026
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives and market evolution
- Lead scenario planning workshops to prepare for potential future disruptions and opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members with compelling data-driven narratives
- Establish and maintain partnerships with academic institutions, industry consortia, and innovation hubs
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at global tech forums
- Oversee cross-functional innovation initiatives bridging R&D, product, and market strategy teams
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends with documented impact on business strategy
- Expertise in AI, quantum computing, biotechnology, or sustainable tech domains
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and influencing strategic decisions
- Deep understanding of global tech ecosystems and regulatory landscapes
- Certification in Futures Research or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFTR) strongly preferred
