Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum algorithms for complex problem-solving, specifically tailored for NISQ (Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum) devices.
- Collaborate closely with hardware engineering teams to optimize algorithm performance for emerging quantum processors.
- Develop error mitigation and error correction protocols to enhance quantum circuit reliability.
- Mentor and guide a team of junior quantum researchers and software engineers.
- Publish high-impact research papers and contribute to the open-source quantum community.
- Translate complex quantum theoretical concepts into practical software solutions for enterprise clients.
- Conduct feasibility studies for quantum applications in cryptography and optimization.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Computing.
- Extensive experience with quantum programming frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or Pennylane.
- Strong proficiency in linear algebra, probability theory, and numerical analysis.
- Deep understanding of quantum gates, superposition, entanglement, and quantum circuit theory.
- Proven track record of publishing research in recognized quantum computing journals or conferences.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum Experience, Amazon Braket).
