Responsibilities
- Greet and check in guests in a professional and welcoming manner, managing reservations and registration processes efficiently.
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails promptly, routing inquiries to the appropriate departments.
- Handle guest complaints or issues with patience and empathy, escalating complex matters to management when necessary.
- Monitor the front desk area and lobby to ensure a safe and secure environment for all guests and staff.
- Process payments accurately and manage cash drawers and credit card transactions in compliance with company policy.
- Assist with luggage handling, valet coordination, and concierge services as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area and public spaces.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a front desk, concierge, or hospitality role is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with diverse guests.
- Proficiency in computer systems, including property management systems (PMS).
- Must be available to work weekends, including Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality degree a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of luggage.
