Responsibilities
- Greet & Welcome: Provide a warm, professional welcome to all guests, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.
- Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk efficiently, including answering multi-line phones, responding to emails, and handling reservation inquiries.
- Customer Service Excellence: Resolve guest issues promptly, answer questions about local attractions and amenities, and handle complaints with grace and professionalism.
- Payment Processing: Process payments accurately using the POS system and manage room keys and folios.
- Administrative Support: Assist with filing, data entry, updating guest profiles, and maintaining the lobby area.
- Coordination: Communicate effectively with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction.
- Policy Enforcement: Uphold hotel policies, safety procedures, and security protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a front desk, concierge, or customer service role is preferred.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
- Schedule: Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and holidays as required.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio, or similar).
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of weight (up to 20 lbs).
- Availability: Must possess a valid driver's license.
